Back in March I posted a first look at Psalms of Planets Eureka Seven: Good Night, Sleep Tight, Young Lovers (also known as “Pocket Full of Rainbows”)
Being a fan of the original series, I was certainly interested when I heard rumors that a movie was being made. Well, sometime last month I learned that there will be a one-night, nationwide screening of the movie here in North America on September 24th, 2009 at 7:30 PM.
Needless to say, that got me quite excited because I absolutely loved the series and have been eagerly waiting for news of a NA DVD release. But news of an actual screening, in theaters, was better than I expected. So I hurried over to NCM Fathom to see which theaters would be playing it in my area and review the ticket ordering process.
Sadly, only one theater in my state that will be playing the movie and its a bit out of the way for me to get there. Certainly wished that one of the theaters closer to my house picked up the movie, certainly looking forward to seeing Eureka 7 on the big screen. Its looking like I’ll probably have to wait for the DVD release now.
If you are a fan of Eureka 7, anime, or just an otaku and there is a theater near you playing it, I would highly recommend you do so. I know I would!
