Apparently Black Rock Shooter (BRS) has become the talk of the town after her showing at WonHobi 9. Like the description says, BRS is based on illustrations of a dark Hatsume Miku.

The original illustration by huke, “BLACK ROCK SHOOTER” has been brought to life as a PVC figure! When ryo first saw huke’s illustration, he was inspired to compose a song based on the image, huke then created a PV for that song, which became a huge hit online. Even a CD has been released!
She has been sculpted holding her huge Rock Cannon, in an striking pose that draws out her mysterious charm. Her flowing hair and jacket, as well as her weapon and beautiful stand have all been carefully sculpted – even the smallest of details have had careful attention paid to them, making this a top quality figure from anybody’s viewpoint.

I think what really appeals to me about this figure is that she has a dark nature to her. She is 1/8 scale, so she is on the small side when it comes to figures; but that’s probably a good thing. She would probably be even more costily if she were a larger scale =/
Despite her small size, she is packing some serious firepower. I also like the chains…maybe it has something to do with my elemental sign ^^; Certainly giving me some ideas for when I have my opportunity to photograph this beauty =O
This figure is pushing the hard rocking style hard. She’s got the chains, the black leather, the scars, ad the flame eye. I think that eye also helps sell the awesomeness of this figure.
For those that don’t care for the flaming eye, it can be cast-off. Certainly nice to have, as the flaming eye may not be for everyone. Her eyes look like they can pierce the heavens from this shot.
She even looks good from the side. I am digging the contrast between her light skin and the black. Also like that the gun does have a good piece of chain attached to it. Three things come to mind when I see this shot…1) that is certainly a big gun, 2) She has some nice legs, and 3) those are certainly some tiny shorts =)
As you can tell, her base is every bit as extraordinary as she is. I am loving the uneven levels, certainly gives this girl a dramatic look.
I also loving the cracking tiles under the weight of the huge-ass gun. Truly an awesome base T.T Also see that the jacket sports the star logo…which for some reason makes me think Terry Bogard from King of Fighters / Fatal Fury franchise.
