Dollfie Dream Saber Lily – Arrival

The day has finally arrived.  Those who visited the site end of November to December know that this Dollfie Dream release was very important to me.  I made several posts on it and think communicated just how special she was to me.  I entered the lotto, won (twice), and the long wait began.  Even though I won her in December, I would not see her until March.  The joke I had with twitter comrade Ken Nguyen was we had to wait three months for our flowers to bloom ^^;

Well the wait was indeed long, but gave me a chance to acquire a few things I wanted to get for Lily.  Plus while waiting I got to enjoy many wonderful pics of Saber Lily from many a blog and comrades who had her.  So I patiently waited, because I knew that eventually this day would arrive.  The day that the lovely flower would bloom.

I have so much I want to say about Saber Lily.  But for now, please enjoy these quick pics I took of Lily’s arrival.

Finally…moment been waiting for.  My precious flower awaits!

Warning taped to plastic wrapper of box again warning of the much talked about Saber Lily Ponytail problem.  From the looks of the pic, Lily does not like her ponytail pulled on.  I don’t blame her.

WHAT THE…!!  I slid the box open a little and out pops the lion.  He introduces himself as Sir Gao and declares himself as Saber Lily’s Herald.

NO CHEESECAKE FOR YOU!  Sir Gao is here to protect Lily’s modesty.  He also warns me that he will tear my head off if I try to get cheesecake on the first shoot like I did with Sakura. >o<

When Sir Gao wasn’t looking, thought I would try to sneak in a quick pic of Lily…

…OH CRAP!!  Looks like Sir Gao caught on to me.  ><

Luckily he didn’t kill me, but he did tell me to leave room while Lily got ready lol

Opted that for first set of pics I wouldn’t do her default set.  For starters, lighting for me gets bad later in day and I knew I wouldn’t be able to do these pics until after I got home from work.  I do have plans for her default clothing, but that will be for another day.  Second, I was fortunate enough to obtain the Saber Casual set from the kind folks at Dollfie World and thought I would use that for first set.  Plus couldn’t pass up chance of getting Sir Gao for Saber Lily.  I was lucky in that package arrived last week, so Sir Gao lives up to his role as Herald.

Volks restocked this chair, which is the one chair I always wanted from them – looked for it for almost a year!!  I was lucky enough to get it when ordering stuff from the Dolpa 24 regular sale.

Seen so many wonderful pics of Lily over these last few months.  But nothing really compares to seeing her up close.
