It was a lovely day. Sun was shining, but was a nice breeze coming off the river. Lot of people at the park today and Yoko got a bit of attention from some park goers.
Statehouse Convention Center located on the Little Rock side of the river. Would be cool if there was some sort of cool anime, video game, figure, or just otaku related event here. Maybe one day >:D
The Downtown area from across the river. Lovely landscape.
Another look across the river. Zoom capabilities of my lens was quite impressive when I compare this shot to last one.
The park is lined with cement pillars and railing to keep people from getting to close to the edge. These provided the perfect place for your to stand to take the shots. Put her at perfect level to achieve these shots.
A closeup of Yoko with the cityscape in the background.
Arkansas Queen riverboat
Another look at the Arkansas Queen. I have rode on a riverboat years ago, it was quite the experience.
Yoko time! She loved the riverboats.
What a magnificent vessel!
Portrait Shot!! For the most part it was fun to take Yoko out, but being there on my own does make it a bit awkward. Got a creeper look from an older couple walking by when shooting this shot.
This riverside park is probably real familiar to people who read my post about Digital Photography. This park is just a few blocks from base, so easy enough to get to.
If you would like to help in my adoption quest, also accepting donations. You can donate any amount you want. It would be greatly appreciated and Sakura would be in a good home ^o^
These are really nice pictures. I have only seen some pictures of the Dollfies before, but I have been looking through your site. Mostly I was drawn to your Yoko, as she has quickly become a favorite of mine. She is a great character.
When I read your comments on the first picture, I was wondering how you went about taking pictures at the park with a Dollfie, as I know these are not small. :D It makes me laugh to think of you walking around with Yoko under your arm.
Thank you. Glad you enjoy the pictures ^o^
I bought a bag to put my dollfies in when taking them out. The first outdoor shoot I did with Rin, she was inside the shipping box; so she was under my arms. The bag draws a little less attention. They are about 66 cm tall, so yes they do draw attention when photographing in the wild.
Yep, I know what you feel about the akward thing.
Even I’m only with my Cam I have this feeling.
But nice pictures you made there.
