So information has been released regarding the next set of Dollfie Dreams that will make debut at the upcoming Doll Party 23. Of particular interest for me is that Fate / Stay Night’s Sakura Matō has been revealed. I have had my suspicions that Sakura and Rider may be on the lineup for possible Fate girls to get DD treatment next.
Sakura’s default outfit will be her academy uniform. Apron included, as she does enjoy cooking.
Sakura has some optional outfits available separately. First one being her causal dress. This will retail for 9,240 yen.
Next up is her signature swimsuit. This will retail for 2,940 yen. Maybe Volks will release the signature swimsuits for Rin and Saber. That would be lovely.
Last is the Dark Sakura set. This set retail at 13,440 yen.
This is a must have to me, as her Dark Sakura persona plays a huge role in the Heaven’s Feel story arc of the games. Is is Dark Sakura that controls Saber Alter in that story arc. Even with her cute face sculpt, she still has a sinister presence to her.
There are a lot of DDs I liked but passed on because while I could see great potential with them, they did not stir my emotions. Sakura is one of those that does. She is a character that despite all the pain and hardship subjected to her, she always manages to smile.
Obviously, this news is bittersweet for me. Sakura is an instant want for me. I like her sculpt and optional clothing options. The downside is one present with most DD releases – raising the needed adoption fee in such a short amount of time. Not to mention that she will probably be a lotto item, which carries its own set of worries (possibility I don’t win).
But even these downsides cannot deter me. I have to try what I can to obtain her else I’ll regret it later (DD Saber).
Going to do a few things over the coming weeks to raise money, including selling some items from my other collections.

She is that. I was trapped the moment I saw her.
Like I said in my post, always had a feeling that Sakura and Rider could be possible DD choices. And I knew that good chance I would have to get them if they did appear. After seeing her in these pics, I have to do whatever I can to try and obtain her and her Dark Sakura set of clothes.
She would be the perfect compliment to Rin and I can already picture the possible shoots I could do if I had her.
